Telkom

I took out two cellphone contracts on the 05/09 at the telkom mobile store in canal walk. I have no problems with service I had received. I do however have a problem with the fact the I cannot get in touch with the lady that had assisted me. I cannot get through to the branch to speak to her. So I had taken out the contract and there was no protective sheet over the front of the phone only the back which I was very surprised by. I went through the phone for about 10 minutes. I left the cellphone at home the next day as I am still using my other cellphone as I am waiting for the cellphone number to be ported. I called the contact centre in the day yesterday as they sent me a validation pin for my vodacom number and I needed to give it them to process the port to telkom. I had a problem because I just had the one phone with me and every time I called it was past the 10 minutes. I also called the evening to ask why my cellphone number is not working and was advised that it takes 48 hours before its activated I was not told this in store I was told it would be immediate. So I called all morning to get through to your canal walk branch I cannot get through. There is a scratch on one of the cellphones that I had received. I need to know if I can return it to the store ? And if this falls under the 7 day device warranty ?
