Telekom not reinstalling ****** cables

There has been issues of cable theft in our area. Some Telekom cables were ****** and some residents of Lenasia South have been left with no phone lines or WiFi for over a week. According to some residents Telekom refuses to reinstall the cables and restore our lines. This is having a bad impact on people who rely on WiFi for work or school especially those who are working from and studying from home. Many residents have taken up this issue with Telekom since last week and there still has not been a change. Understandably this is not the first time cables were ****** but the company should take better safety measures while installing these cables. Residents should not be denied service and put on hold by Telekom for hours while trying to figure out what is going on only to find out Telekom does not care about its customers enough to install proper cables in the area or to give out a proper message to all that are affected by this lack of service.
