Telecommunication company that can't communicate .... I guess it's asking too much

<p>I type this sitting in the Telkom store @ Canal Walk because it has been three weeks, 10 emails and 7 visits to the store with no sucess on a simple ADSL line activation.... the reason you ask.... uhm... they can't read a cellphone number listed on their system.</p> <p>The installers say they are coming and I take off work but the magically they have a number that doesn't exsist and leave. This has been the struggle for the last 3 weeks and today I had to move my office into to Telkom so I could do some work. Thanks Telkom for making life difficult. If only service delivery or at least customer service was also listed as one of your "deals of the month"</p> <p> </p> <p>That said I must commend Bongi and Maggie who have been tirelessly trying to assist with absolutley no progress. So today I don't leave the store untilIi have some form of internet. I'm hoping it will cuz enough of a fuss to make it to news 24 because im not moving and that's the god honest truth.</p>

After sitting at telkom for hours the extremely rude and hostile manager of the store proceeds to try "educate" me on how I'm wrong and they will most certainly come install my line. I said I had been through this whole ordeal 7 times now but he gaurenteed me it would be done by 4:30. It's now 4:16 ... I wonder if this man is going to work some kind of miracle or if it was a ploy to get me out the shop. What a disgrace !!! Perfect example of bad customer service. Urgh ...

Proceeded to phone head office to seek resolution but I was biunced back to the store. Nobody has anything to say and nobody is willing to actually do anything to make it better. Uhm.... LTE uncapped would definitely help tide me over while I wait for these competent individuals to come activate an existing line for Adsl. All it takes is one person to care enough to save a brand - Telkom wake up please.
