Technician missing in action

Its been two weeks of waiting for the technician to come and install the ADSL. After finally receiving an sms from Telkom stating that the technician would come out to do the installation between 08h00 and 12h00, the end of the day comes and still no show. I called Telkom throughout the day asking how much longer i would have to wait as i took an entire day off from work to have this sorted. All i got was that the technician was dispatched. I then insisted on speaking to a manager, after which he established that the code the technician had left on the report - as to why he did not pitch translated to \premises not ready"... Which is utter *******. My neighbour also recently installed their ADSL without problem and there is no construction happening. For someone who didn't even pitch i struggle to see how he could've known whats happening on my premises. The matter was 'escalated' with the technicians supervisor and an sms got sent stating that the technician was dispatched and that the installation would be done TODAY. Still nothing. I insist that someone be sent to my place tomorrow 14/08 as i will have no other time to have this sorted. """
