Technician damaged line

A week ago a Telkom technician who was working on the phone lines for the Private School (St. Martin's Primary School) that is bordering our pemises, asked for my permission to access the school's phone pole from our garden, as he was having difficulties reaching it from the school premises. When he was done and returned to the school, I realised that both our phone and internet were not working anymore. I got ahold of the school security guard to call the technician back, which he did the following day. He claimed, however, that he did not touch our lines and that there must have been a fault there before. He saw the lines were hanging already the day he came. He advised that I report the fault online and he would probably be called to it in the next few days because he was anyway working in the area. Now that is one week ago and the problem still has not been resolved. The irritating thing is that we never had any issue until the Telkom technician came and now he does not take responsibility for his mistake. This is unacceptable and the matter better be resolved asap.
