Supper poor Telkom

On 13 Feb telkom's telephone lines were ****** in our area. The fault, that i had no service was reported on that day and several times after that. Reference numbers were given and are still open wrt completion. Since then i have had no service wrt the landline or ADSL services. Telkom indicated that they are not going to replace these ****** lines but have not provided alternative services. This was explained and mailed to telkom's customer care email address in which they rep**** that they will get back to us. To telkom's defense they did get back to us to sell us a new product and explained that this is not what i require, that i require a replacement service for the service which they have now brought to an end. Nothing happened and nobody contacted us. As the Fault reporting was still active and not concluded it was left as is. Today i receive a Invoice for the past two months line rentals, ADSL services and call made in excess of R500. Now this is interesting as a block call service is active on this line which prohibit any cell numbers to be dialled as can be seen and proved by previous invoices as i have detailed billing. So what now Telkom.

Is the next step Court, i think so.

How can you bill somebody for services not provided, calls not made on a line that is non existent and have no one look at the problems reported and expect customers to support you. This is the reason customers move to other services provider
