Suffering due to slow connection
I've heard there is an upgrade in the area on telkom adsl lines. I recently installed mine and am paying R500 per month for an internet connection that is slower than dial up. I work from home on a social media account for a huge company so I am absolutely dependent on the internet. I am now having to buy extra data and tether through my phone or sit in coffee shops for hours just to try and get my work done. It has also meant that I have to work late at night to catch up for all the lost time of struggling and driving around to find internet (I can't afford to buy more data).

I am supposed to have a 3G stick with 200MB per month as part of my package, but as our branch closed I didn't receive one (no stock) and so I am still without this and paying every month for a service I have not received. I was told to drive to the closest branch which is at least 40 minutes away if I include traffic and parking etc. That is 80 minutes out of my day just for driving - what about standing in a queue! I cannot afford this.

As a working mother, this influences my son (3 years old) and my husband, as I am tired, frustrated and not performing well in terms of work. No use phoning the call cent
