Subscription Increased within contract period

In Feb 2018 I took out a 24 month contract, adsl 4mbps line at R599. I see in September 2019 Telkom decides to increase my subscription, how is this legal if I signed a 24 month contract? The call centre agents are not capable of helping just say I should have received a notification? I want the increased portion reversed!
