Still waiting for my account to be reactivated

My account was deactivated last week Wednesday for late payment - I accept full fault here but I immediately paid up my outstanding and current invoice. It is hard to keep track of things not on debot order and I understand why I was initially disconnected.

My account balance was confirmed by Telkom's billing department to be zero. They advised me on Saturday morning that my telephone line and ADSL would be activated after an hour of my call. 3 hours later I had to follow up. Still nothing. I was then transferred back and forth between Billing and Technical departments until someone eventually took my details again and said it would be sent through to the activations department.

I contacted them again this morning as my telephone line was still not active, I cannot make or receive calls and my ADSL is down. I keep being given the runaround with Customer Service people replying to Tweets and Facebook messages by saying that they are investigating and will get back to me as soon as possible. Unless I contact them I hear nothing from them.

Either their activations department is not working correctly or I am being **** to by the Billing, Technical and Customer Services department.

I would like my service to be reactivated NOW please.

Hi, as mentioned in my story, this is NOT a billing query. My account has a zero balance which has been confirmed by your billing department. My issue is that when I pick up my phone or switch on my router there is nothing, a dead line, not a sound coming through my phone. If someone has to try calling, they hear a ringing but nothing on my side. My router does not pick up anything either.

Thank you for sorting out my issue eventually, it is nice to be connected again. Please, going forward, if someone reports an issue and it is due to cable issues in the area, advise them on this as I would understand if I was told instead of being given the runaround. Thanks for sorting it out though.
