*****ing R1 from a million ppl is R1000 000 in theft is it not?

So once again Telkom is in my spotlight. If it isnt ********** monthly billing of accounts that have been cancelled a year prior then its something new. So like many users on here I have to use the internet. Living in a non city area makes your options limited. And as so many we all go to Telkom for our internet needs. I mean the specials they advertise seem half decent. You sign up and wait and wait for a technician to come hook you up. Internet speeds arent what they claim and only after many, many complaints and visits to the store you finalle are satisfied. But then you one day out of the blue get a dirty sms that says that your internet will be cut of because your account is overdue. An account that you have up to this date not received. So you go into the Telkom store to find that the debit order you signed and the promise that the account will be linked with your mobile phone account didnt happen. And when you ask why you didnt get an invoice for the account they dont send it to the adress that you filled in on the contract but to another adress that you dont even know where they got it from. But this is still not the gist of the story. Here I am now finally after changing all my details so that I can receive my bill via email. (I mean they cant ***** that up right?) And my bill arrives. And the numbers on the bill is strange... The contract that you signed said R599 a month. But now it shows a monthly amount and then a discount amount and tax and the amount is suddenly R599.02. 2 Cents doesnt sound much to most ppl and most ppl would not even know to look for it but imagine 2 cents being ****** from 20 million people? I mean most households have telkom lines? Thats a theft of R4 million rand A MONTH happening right under our noses. But wait, theres more. On the account is suddenly a interest fee of R1.02 for what I dont know? An account that i paid still in the month that it was due? But when did Telkom become a credit provider with the rights to add interest to an account? Where did they specify this in the contract? Who gave them the right to do so? So now we are at R1,04 extra on the account. Doing the sum again we now sit with R21 million being ****** from unweary customers. PER MONTH. Oh and the amount gets up rounded with another cent just to top it all off. So my plea is this. Please check your account with a vigilant eye. Even if its only off with a few cents. *****ing cents from millions of people is making someone rich! And make a complaint with ICASA so these companies can get the fines and reprimands that they deserve. If a million ppl complain these companies wont get away with this!!! Ive included ICASA's link here. Its easy just follow the steps.
