STAY FAR AWAY FROM TELKOM BUSINESS!!!!!

Note that the one star is actually over rating my experience once again. It should be zero. My daughter's cellphone was ******. She phoned in to block the phone. Obviously to avoid any transactions going through. We however received a Telkom statement indicating NO block on the account and R21 000+ due to be paid. Our normal payment is less than R2000/month. I visited the Uitenhage Corkwood Square Telkom branch. They confirmed that the account was never blocked. They phoned around, arranged a SIM swop, because we wanted to keep on using the same cell number which they said were possible and to declare a dispute. I was advised that they will listen to the recording. Three weeks later, nothing from Telkom. I phoned in numerous times only to hear the case is still open. Now I am left with a deduction of R21 000 due end of the month. EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE!!!!! One can certainly not rely on Telkom to address challenges that occur and NO trust relationship can exist regarding the way they do business. NOT TRUSTWORTHY AT ALL!!!
