Stay away from Telkom!

Telkom suck *****! We previously had a telkom landline but then moved to another house and no longer needed the landline so I did what I was told to do and put my notice in with Telkom 3 months ago. I didn't receive an email of acknowledgement or any response to my notice and now every month I am receiving an invoice for my "outstanding" account. I have tried on numerous occasions to call their help line and I just can't get hold of them. It just rings and rings and rings. 10/20/30 minutes of my airtime gone and still to no avail! So... now, what do I do? I can refuse to pay but then they black list me! They are *********** twits! I have to also mention that while we utilized their service we had non stop problems with the line, we often had no line at all and we also always struggled to get hold of them to report the problem. Stay the hell away from Telkom! Telkom will cause unnecessary stress in your life!
