Starting to look like willful theft / ***** to me

* Problem with Telkom ADSL. Report on 23 Sep. Use Telkom Mobile phone to report. Telkom ends up charging me (incorrectly) for call, claiming it's an MTN number. I ask them to phone the number; they get back to me and say (sheepishly) that they tried it and it is indeed the Telkom customer care. They would escalate and it would be fixed. I get SMS saying problem resolved and number to phone for more info. I do so. They say I am being charged as MTN number. Process repeats. Wash and rinse about 5 times, with supervisors promising to call me back and not doing it. Eventually now they simply went ahead and charged me anyway (despite serval times after sometimes it seems hours on the phone admitting it was problem their side and promising me it would not be charged.) In meantime, ADSL still not fixed despite taking leave for appointment with Telkom rep that did not pitch. Several attempts - eventually technician says ADSL line unfixable. I get message saying problem resolved. Phone to find out how they say everything working now. I say not true. Rinse and repeat.

TLDR for more than month telkom sees problem, admits theirs, then simply does nothign and send text saying problem fixed. Also incorrectly charges me for phoning Telkom customer care from Telkom phone. Simply using debit order to take / ***** money from my account which they themselves admitted not entitled to. Several managers promising to get back to me; no-one does.

Dear Telkom Social Media Team,
Thank you for responding. Unfortunately, so far it is a good example of what I have been experiencing and describing so far - a promise that it has been escalated, a reference number, a promise of feedback, but nothing more. The only thing needed now for this to fit the pattern perfectly is for nothing further to be done at all except that I will get a message saying the problem has been resovled and given a number to contact for more info - only to find out everything is starting from the beginning again like groundhog day.
Kindly tell me WHO exactly will contact me, WHEN exactly, and most importantly, WHAT MY NEXT RECOURSE IS IF/WHEN THEY DO NOT!
Unfortunately, it seems the modus operandi now is to simply give a ref number and say the matter has been escalated, promise feedback, never give any but simply close the problem, forcing the entire process to restart. Is the idea to tire people out? On that note, I would also like whoever contacts me to indicate what will be done to compensate me for the substantial amount of time and money (muchy overshadowing the original amount now) that I had to spent SO FAR ALREADY to try to address this.
