Spam, without STOP

It's started again. During the past one or two years I have complained twice in this forum about getting unsolicited promotional SMSs from Telkom. Each time I have very efficiently been given a reference number and been promised further contact. And each time there has been no such contact and resolution.<br> <br> I am a Telkom landline customer and have now requested three times that I not get unsolicited communications, unless it directly relates to a landline problem. These unwanted SMSs have no \STOP"option and as far as I know transgresses section 45 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (Act 25 of 2002).<br> <br> Or is Telkom above the Law?<br> """
