Sorry, we cant help you......

I recently moved into a new house. My work is 100% internet based.
Before I moved, I went online and checked for ADSL availability at my new address and it was positive, up to 10mb it said.
I have had a 4mb uncapped internet account with Telkom in my old house.
Three weeks before moving, I requested for my line to be moved to the new premises. Five days before I moved, I got informed by a technician that I cant have internet.....the reason was that vagrants steel their copper lines and they are not willing to replace the infrastructure for the people who live here. How can the biggest and ONLY telecoms infrastructure provider in SA not secure their cables or provide an alternative solution for this problem area? Its rediculous!
There is no LTE footprint here for the new uncapped LTE packages. Shouldn't Telkom look at the areas where they cannot provide analogue infrastructure first to install this wireless service???

So much for making your clients feel that their business is wanted...
I am now paying through my neck for an unreliable, wireless, point to point internet solution.
Thanks Telkom.
