Someone bought SIM with my details

<p>I went to Telkom in September '16 to try and get a contract, and my application was declined due to a low credit score. In October i went back with th hope that my updated credit would be high enough for Telkom, only to find out that someone had bought a prepaid SIM under my name. The person called Telkom and bought it over the phone and had it delivered to their premises. What suprises me is that my application with Telkom was declined, so i don't understand how someone was able to purchase something under my name when my application to be a Telkom customer on contract basis was declined. This obviously is a security breach. I don't understand how this happened. I have asked Telkom to suspend the SIM and they have but the fact that someone else bought a Telkom product under my name whereas my application with Telkom had failed was deeply disatisfying and worrying.</p>
