Smart one rate plan R149 extra costs

<p>I signed a data contract with Telkom for R149 pm. I have had the contract for 3 months and every month there has been extra charges which was not stipulated in the contract. The contract that I signed states that the maximum amount that can be debited per month is R149. There's is also a section that says spend limit explained - customers with a monthly subscription of R200 or less will be adjusted to R250. I have been in store and contacted the call centre and all the sales consultants say is that is extra data that was used however I was lead to believe that the data would cut off once the 5gigs daytime and 10gigs nighttime data has depleted. I am extremely frustrated with Telkom and find that it is really unfair that they can now debit my account for 5 times the amount of which I signed for even though it clearly states the maximum amount to be debited is R149.I feel like I'm being ****** and really can't afford all the extra charges.</p>
