SLOW INTERNET SPEEDS CAUSED BY PHONE LINE

This is getting to me on a level that has never got me before. I have internet with another company that is by far the reason why they are number one in the country. BUT MY INTERNET IS SLOWED DOWN BECAUSE OF TELKOM. I have no idea what is going on as there is nothing in the media or anywhere addressing the problem. It has to do with the phone lines or something but I am EXTREMELY FURIOUS at all this. What are they doing to fix it? You speak to call centres etc and it ends up being a waste of time. I am an online English teacher so it is essential that I have internet. Do you really think they are going to pay me for the losses I am receiving? This needs to be sorted out immediately.
