Slow internet speeds

<p>Over the past few months i've been experiencing intermittent slow internet speeds. One minute, I can download and browse fine, the next minute the speeds are so slow everything freezes.</p> <p>I logged a fault last month, however when the technician checked the line, the speed was okay. When I use speedtest.net and test the line, I receive speeds between 0.10mbps to 1.80mbps. Most of the time it averages between 1.20mbps to 1.50mbps, bare in mind this is on a 2mb adsl. </p> <p>Why am I paying for a 2mb line when i'm only receiving half or less than half the speeds? I lived in UK prior to 2007 and never experienced these problems, 11 years ago I was running a 24mb broadband line in UK for the fraction of the price which they charge in South Africa!</p> <p>Will Telkom beable to resolve the slow internet speed issue which I am experiencing?</p>
