Sim Swap Nightmare

Hello Telkom.

Monday 19/02: Called to blacklist a phone. Called 4 times and each time the employee said up to 2 hours for the ITC number. Tuesday 20/02: ITC number finally arrives. Wednesday 21/02: Go to Telkom in Canal Walk, Western Cape, to get a new sim card as the previous one was ****** and therefore I blocked it. I was told 48 hours for it to work. Friday 23/02: 48 hours has now passed, and it doesn't work. I go back to the same store where I get told it's in the process of a credit vetting process which takes 3 days. Thereafter, the sim card will work. Saturday 24/02: Receive my SMS to say the case has been resolved. Monday 26/02: Sim Card still not working. Decide to visit the Bayside branch to find out what's happening. He takes the relevant info and says "It will be activated between now and 1 hour." cool cool. Today 27/02: Sim Card not working. I phone customer care and get told there is a RICA'd and active sim card on my name but it's not the same one that's in my possession. (I gave him the number on the back of the sim card). Therefore I was given the incorrect sim card in the first place. Tomorrow I must drive back to the Canal Walk branch to find out what's happening. That will be 9 days without my Telkom service. I pay R470 a month. Divide that by 28 days as that's how long this month is, multiply by 9 which gives us R151. Will that be refunded to me? Because you were very quick to cut our home service when we forgot to pay yesterday. So hopefully you're just as quick to refund customers. Obviously you won't refund me, this is Telkom we are talking about. But just please, be better.
