Sim not activated

I wanted to get the Telekom SIM card...went to mall of Africa twice when they gave me a SIM card that didn’t work. I later found out that the SIM card were not activated. The last guy that assisted we at Mall of Africa is Terrence and said he did not know why the sim did not work. Such incompetence!!!?
