Silly me, I thought people were wrong about Telkom’s ******* service. Sies!

Telkom Mobile has ******* service. Firstly I got offered a contract and when the package arrived it had 2 SIM cards billing differently - I let that slide. Some time in September or October I got ****** of my phone so I called them to block the SIM cards. The lady was polite and did just that after putting me on hold to chat with her supervisor first. The very next week I headed to a Telkom Mobile outlet at Maponya Mall with my ID to get m two SIM cards and was told I couldn’t get them because they need a printed statement (proof of address), th guy didn’t even want to print out the statement I have on my phone. Every other network provider does sim swaps telephonically. Vodacom doesn’t ask for anything FICA related if you are a contract holder because they already have these details in their system. Anyways I turned back and spent the month without my Telkom SIM cards and the next thing I receive a statement stating that I’m due to pay R5999,00 for the month of November. I’m lost now as my monthly installments are around R400 to R600 and I looked through my call history n the Telkom Mobile app and there were no transactions at all for November. I don’t know if my contract is being terminated without reason or Telkom made an error n their side. The debit order was blocked by my bank so it did not process as per my request. The R5999,00 appears on my Telkom statement and the app yet there are no transactions from October to date. I received no call or communication in regards to a termination of my contract or the debit order being unsuccessful. They called me to offer me the deal on my main number so not having that number is not an excuse. They have my email address and postal address too...
