Sick and elderly parents without Telkom line

<p>My parents telkom line went dead on 1 July 2017 and after numerous calls and three visits to telkom' s offices at College Square in Bloemfontein there are still no efforts from telkom to resolve the issue.</p> <p>They were told that the telkom lines needs to be replaced and it can take up to a year to replace. </p> <p>They were informed that their land line will be replaced by a "satellite phone" and they can expect a parcel from telkom in Gauteng.</p> <p>To date they have had no contact from telkom Gauteng and they are relying on the expense alternative of cellphone communication.</p> <p>Shame on you telkom for abandoning a loyal costumer after all these years.</p> <p> </p>
