Shameful Customer Service and a Hopeless Organisation

My application for a land line has had its six-month anniversary. First contact 01 December 2015 with SMS confirmation after applying online. Telkom call-centre response on 29 January 2016 after Facebook request. Facebook Telkom confirmed on 03 February 2016 that there is no order on their system under my ID or Cell phone number. They emailed me a Telkom application form. Submitted form on 07 May 2016 at Tygervalley Shopping mall's Telkom shop. On 11 May 2016 I followed up as no order number was yet received. On 23 May 2016 the Telkom shop responded via email (12 days it took) asking if I still have a problem. During this time I requested help from Facebook Telkom (13 May 2016) and received an SMS with the order number on 16 May 2016, i.e. ***A. The technician came out on 02 June 2016, at about 16h45 having booked that entire day. The line was "installed" and the technician demonstrated that it's functional. On 3 June 2016 the line was dead on the phone and dialling it from elsewhere resulted in the connection to random people. I logged a fault via the Telkom web site on 03 June 2016 and received a confirmation via SMS, i.e. 387CWZ030616. On 06 June 2016 I requested help vie the Telkom Facebook and they confirmed that a technician is not assigned yet. However, I was informed that billing has been enabled on this account.
