Shame on you Telkom!

58 days ago, on 17 October 2016, I queried, via Twitter, the imposed expiry date Telkom mobile airtime. To date I have received ZERO response from Telkom.

I purchased prepaid airtime for use in - case - of - emergencies. Who gives Telkom the right to decide how & by when my airtime should be used?

Telkom seems to care only about making profit. In this day & age, in this country where crime is rife & people are poverty-stricken!

I purchased this prepaid airtime online via credit card. The minimum spend is R50 & the airtime expires at the end of the month in which it was purchased. This means that in order to have airtime in the event of an emergency, I need to purchase R50 airtime EVERY MONTH! That's R600 that Telkom intends ******ing from me in a year because why not further exploit women in particular who are most susceptible to violence in this country.

This is so disgusting Telkom! Shame on you! To add insult to injury, see my review to follow.

Busi,
Please explain what happened to the prepaid airtime I purchased on 11 November 2016 for R22.50. I dialled ONE number at 19:31 on 26 November 2016, which was cancelled by the network because I was out of range of a signal. I therefore did not make any calls using the airtime purchased on 11 November.
How is it that on 2 December my airtime balance was 0.00, at which point I purchased R50 airtime?
