Service not provided

In 2019 I app**** for fibre from Telkom together with being my service provider for the internet. The contract was signed and despite following up on numerous occasions, there was no response from the company. I cancelled the contract however I was still charged R 2 798 for two months for the service that was not provided. I was then handed over, but in 2021 the case was closed as I refused to pay for no service provided. The current service provider was becoming too expensive, therefore I turned to Telkom to be my service provider, however Telkom has still not closed the case neither have written the amount off, therefore i will not be able to use Telkom. It is very sad to see that the debt has still not been written off after 5 years and unfortunately Telkom is just about the only service provider in our area.
