Service charges for Telkom's inability to deliver on.

Following a sharp decline in the delivery of services at the beginning of the year, I signed up for a 10mbps ADSL contract at the Canal Walk Telkom branch on the advise on one of a telkom technician sent to check the the poor / intermittent connectivity and general failure of the service. Once installed, it immediately become clear that Telkom were unable to deliver on the 10mbps upgrade as 2.8mbps was the maximum speed achieved so returned within the 5 day cooling off period to Canal Walk branch to cancel the contract and take up the LTE service. When I received my May account it became clear that the ADSL was not cancelled as requested in store and I returned to the branch to resolve at which time the branch referred the issue to accounts who contacted me shortly thereafter. Following numerous of calls in May I was finally informed the account was cancelled only to discover was my email service was cancelled!!!! It took many calls to many clueless call centre individuals one of whom informed me I should just set up a gmail account to finally sort that one out. Thinking the circus was over I was once again shocked on receipt of the latest account to discover that charges are once again reflected for an ADSL service Telkom can't provide. When contacted, the accounts department have no record of any cancellation of and advise me of the cancellation fee which was initially queried in the branch but told it would be wavered due to Telkom's inability to deliver on the service and my taking up the LTE contract.
