Selling false products

So I had a Telkom LTE contract which expired in January 2017. In October last year I wanted to upgrade from the 5GB package to the 10GB one, but was told it would start a new 2-year contract. Obviously that is ridiculous since mine was ending 3 months later, so I left it.

In February this year, a tele-salesman contacted me to renew my contract. I said no due to the inability of the product being able to migrate between packages on the same term. He assured me this was not the case with the new packages they had, and so after re-confirming 3 times that I could easily migrate up or down on the same term contract, I took out a 10GB package for 2 years.

In April I wanted to upgrade it to 20GB and was told, a) I can't change anything for the first 3 months, and b) any changes would extend the contract by 2 years from the date of change - EXACTLY LIKE THE OLD **** CONTRACTS.

So firstly, what they sold me is a lie, and secondly their packages/product is absolute ****. Which ISP in this day and age doesn't allow you to spend more money with them by moving up to a higher package during the contract period!!??

I want to cancel my contract with them now, but trying to get hold of them telephonically is physically impossible, and when I go into a store they say it must be done over the phone - they can't help me.

And I really thought Telkom was improving on their bad name, but alas, more of the same ****...
