Scratched and dented tablet on return from repairs

I booked my tablet for repairs on the 6 May 2015 at telkom lakeside. When I fetched it on the 1st June 2015, I found that the tablet had scratches and was dented. I did not take it and re-booked it. Later after a week I got an sms biking me R1,700 siting that the tablet is out of warranty. When I went to the consultant she tried to find out but we could not get any joy. The repair centre said they are charging me for drop damage. But they(repair centre) damaged it and I must pay. I asked her to ask her boss to call me, she said she will call me on the 3rd July 2015. She did not call. To date I don't know what's happening with the tablet. It is over 8 weeks now.
