Samsung S8+ screen repair

In October 2017 I entered into an agreement with Telkom to purchase a Samsung S8+ through a Telkom contract. I was told that my phone being a premium phone is covered for 2 screen damages for 24 months by Samsung . I was assisted by Pretty. Fast forward to mid-November my phone fell and cracked the screen. I went to the Telkom store in Centurion Mall which is where I got my phone from and was told to take my phone to a Samsung store either Menlyn or Mall of Africa. The next day I drove to Mall of Africa to drop my phone in for repairs but was told that Samsung will not accept the phone without a "Samsung Mobile Care contract. I asked for a copy of this document from the Samsung shop in Mall of Africa but the gentlemen refused saying that he cannot give me a copy of this document as the document is for another customer. I was then sent back to my store (by Samsung)to discuss this further with them which I did the same day in the afternoon. Back at the store "Telkom Centurion Mall", I explained to the service technicians the feedback I got from Samsung . All the service technicians maintained that they do not know anything about a Samsung Mobile Care plan. The only document a customer needs to have in order to book a phone for repair is proof of purchase which in my case was my contract with Telkom and I had that on hand. I was then sent to Menlyn to book the phone in for repairs at the Menlyn Samsung store. I went and was told the same thing that they require a copy of the "Samsung Mobile Care plan" which I explained to the guy that Telkom already told me that they don't know anything about the contract. I was again sent back to my store. I asked for a copy of the document (Samsung Care plan) required to allow me to book my phone in and luckily the guy gave me and I left a copy at the store for their reference. The next day I was again at the store to give feedback I received from Samsung Menlyn. My disappointment in this whole thing is that I have signed a Telkom contract and when I went in-store for my phone I was never told about this "Samsung Mibile Care plan". This "Samsung Mobile Care" was introduced in May 2017 already but still in October this has not been communicated to Telkom. Because Samsung cancelled ADH and didn't inform Telkom am now left with a phone that doesn't have cover for screen repairs

Telkom centurion Mall is refusing to repair my phone even though it was their fault. To-date I have not received a formal response to my complaint I logged. The store managing is not even entertaining my query or better yet to at-least give me a way forward as it was his store's responsibility to ensure that I am informed of the requirements that were implemented by Samsung. Am now told there is nothing their store can do because Samsung did not inform them, basically sending to go speak to Samsung whiles I have a Telkom contract and not a Samsung contract. Very bad and disappointing service from Telkom Centurion Mall store or Telkom in general as I never received any feedback for my complaint. No-one cared to contact me.
