Sales person at the Mall of Africa sold me a Mobile (presumably on promotion) under the wrong Pretext

Sales person at the Mall of Africa sold me a Mobile (presumably on promotion) under the wrong Pretext. It’s OK my fellow African brother, Pad yourself on your shoulder and tell yourself that you managed to get away with your doggy shenanigans and you have won. Congratulations!!May God the Almighty be with you and protect you forever in your doggy deals.

I was made unaware that the phone that I am buying will only allow me to call Telkom to Telkom networks. How on a world, can an individual agree to such conditions, only when I was made well aware of the terms and conditions? On the same token, how many of us as individuals, on this planet, has more than 2 Telkom Mob numbers on our cell phones contacts? The answer to you Mr sales person including your Employer, should be: dololo.

Your employer Telkom benefitted for the past six months by retaining unutilised minute from me even though I have maintained my instalments without any fail. Why doesn’t your employer raise eyebrows when my minutes remain unused every single month? OOOOH!! Telkom you enjoyed continuing ripping me off at the expense of my hard earned money, with no reward on my side? Continue being in business for wrong reasons Telkom. You will be rewarded soon. Watch the space!!!!!!!!!

My instalment differed radically from the one stipulated on the contract. On my 5th month, seeing that the problem is continuous, when asking my sales person, I was told that he unilaterally decided to include a top-up of R500 to allow me to be able to call all networks, something that I was not party to. I found that as utterly unacceptable and requested him to remove it from my bill, which he eventually did. To date, I have not received my monthly statements after months of pleading with *********** Telkom staff members that are engaged with.

• Cancel my contract. • Transfer all the Telkom minutes into data. • I will let my son utilise the data effective in the form of playing games and other downloads, rather than allowing Telkom to re-load my forever unused minutes to other clients and for ever make surplus at my expense. • Our relations have become irretrievable broken. I regard this as the highest form of betrayal and does not make business sense at all. I will approach other telephone networks and purchase a phone which will give me absolute freedom to call all available networks within the boundaries of South Africa.

I encourage all South Africans not to make business with Telkom!!!!!!!!!!!!
