Safety Harzard for Telkom Mobile customers

Let me start by saying that i searched the web for a suitable platform to address my concerns but was unable to find one. Hopefully a review here will reach the right people that may be able to help.

For about 2weeks telkom mobile signal has all but completely disappeared on the R27 from the West coast to Capetown. I travel this road on a daily basis and from this experience i can say that atleast twice a week some sort of accident or vehicle breakdown occurs on this road due to the high traffic. I dont know the ratios of telkom mobile customers to other networks but for those that are customers i foresee a potential situation where people involved in a accident may not be able to call for help when the need arrises. This issue is seen as more severe since statistically being able to dispatch police or medical personnel to a scene in most cases will determine if people survive the ordeal.

For as long as the network stays impaired all telkom mobile customers are at risk and i am placing this review so that there is some form of record that this matter was brought under the attention of Telkom. Thereby disabling telkom from not being able to take some sort of responsibility should something happen that could have prevented by a simple phone call.
