Sad service delivery

During the past week, I have had to deal with both below average and great service from some Telkom customer service consultants.

On the 27th August 2018, I had made payment of my outstanding balance on my account and had hoped my line would be unsuspended to no avail. I contacted Telkom CSD to enquire as to my payment reflecting. My first encounter (28.08.2018) with the agent left me with a disappointed and there was no definite turnaround time for my lines being reactivated. The second encounter (29.08.2018) I had spoken to Wellington which was more similar to the first one which was even more annoying as the 24 -48 hour turnaround time was only advised then, however, I advised that we were nearing the end of the turnaround time and asked how much longer this would take. Once again, I attempted to try again and hope for a different response of which I had gone through to lovely and delightful lady by name of Kamo who actually asked the right questions and I was FINALLY advised of the ERROR of the collections team not restricting my lines. She had advised that they would take a maximum period of 5 hours to get this resolved. Kamo further advised that should my lines not get reinstated to call back further escalate this issue. I also called after the 5-hour escalation and spoke to Nosipho Mkhwanzi who was a thrill to speak and helped me with the same information Kamo had provided previously. Sadly my lines are still restricted after a number of conversations.

I feel like as a company to stop placing your agents in hard positions and help them help us.

SAD and DISAPPOINTED IN TELKOM'S PROCESS.
