Risk and possible ********** selling

<p>About two weeks back a person named Michelle Subramoney from Call Centre Internaitonal call centre in Durban called my wife to sell the Telkom smart internet 1G package. Told her she gets 3000 free minutes to any network and infact 2gigs plus an additional 1.5g free (total 3.5gigs) Also said debit will go off end of March. Told my wife that this is a trial period for 7 days and if she is not happy with the product, she can return it.</p> <p>But like all call centre agents trying to make a quick buck, turns out that the debit went off one week after the phone call, the package is 1g only. This was actually a cool off period. I think there is a big difference between a cool off period and a trial period....The additional gigs is only if there is a Telkom hot spot nearby. Found out all this when I spoke to a senior manager at the company named Faranaz Metcalf.</p> <p>She also told me that feedback will be given after 48 hours according to the CPA, but the QA people called on the second day to ask what is the phone number that was used. My wife had to call back the next day because they didnt bother to respond to find out what was found on the call. They said that the query was valid and she can cancel....like as if I was going to keep that if the query wasnt valid.</p> <p>Who knows what action was even taken with the consultant who called...???</p> <p> </p> <p>Good people from Hello Peter, please be alert when taking things on the phone...</p>
