Hi, I changed my banking details in last month from Capitec to FNB, I switched all my debit orders and a consultant at Telkom told me that they will only be able to debit my FNB account from next month, so I kept money in my Capitec account for the debit to still go off on the 25th of November, however it did not go off, I then made a plan to make sure I pay my account on time by making an EFT payment at Pick n Pay at 7pm on the 25th of November, only to wake up the next day and receive an sms notification that Telkom had actually debited my FNB account at midnight. So I am highly upset as the information given to me when I switched my debit orders was incorrect, if I knew Telkom was going to debit from FNB I wouldnt have made an EFT payment at Pick n Pay. I am now R5000 short due to this double debit and then another consultant at Telkom (Roslan Gilber) has the audacity to tell me that it can only be reversed after 48 hours, this is really an inconvenience. Yesterday I emailed my proof of payment which was made at Pick n Pay through to Roslan for her to escalate the matter and I have not received any response from her. It's been a day! Telkom's service is so pathetic and unprofessional!
