Relocation request - No communication and feedback

It has been a very long and frustrating month. I placed a relocation/move a line request in September, Ref No ********** 34A, and received confirmation that a technician was at the exchange on the 2nd of October. It was discovered that there is/was a problem with the cabling and the request was referred to the cabling department. Now I’ve been told that there is a technical problem on the line.

We were initially told the transfer would happen within anywhere between a few days and a month (21 days), it has now been more than 6 weeks.. We have phoned almost daily, with no success, and we have basically been told to wait until we are contacted, but no-one has contacted us so far. After many hours on the phone, and being transferred back and forth between operators, and the matter was escalated so many times, the problem persists and no one can give me a direct answer when this will happen.

I would like some feedback as to when the transfer will happen, what exactly is the reason for the delay. I am very frustrated as we have been waiting on our phone line as well as our ADSL for this whole time with no sign of the transfer of the line happened anytime soon.

Can someone at Telkom please expedite this as urgent!
