It's like deja vu.
Where do I even start, I have gotten to that point where Telkom has completely worn me out, So here is the story one more time(After I have explained it to 3 different Telkom consultants.)
(see *** and case numbers: ********** 0, ********** 0, ********** 4, ********** 5, ********** 4, ********** 1, ********** 3, ********** 3 it is a very long list)
I took 2x smart 50 contract in May 2015 which where due for an upgrade in May 2017, but I was certain I am never signing a contract with Telkom.
So mid 2016, my contract was upgraded from smart 50 to smart 100 without my authorization, and I then at end of the month when I received my bill it said I was owing over R5000 due to a migration fee that I never signed up for. Telkom took the blame then after 4 months my contract was then reinstated and sadly my credit rating was affected as per an email from Cleo Makhubele.
I could not wait for the 24 months to end, so on the 10th of April, I emailed them a contract cancellation form and also visited Telkom Somerset Mall to deliver the form to avoid any discrepencies and they acknowledged.
On the 19th June 2017, I received a call from a lady(Forgot to note her name down) from Telkom regarding the cancellation and I had to explain to her what had happened, because on her side my contract was still left with over 18 months until expiry - After explaining the story to her as per SM211229, she confirmed that after 24 hours my contract will be history and I'll be migrated to prepaid (As per case number: ********** 5), I requested an email confirmation and never received it.
And then, 3rd July 2017, Telkom sends me an invoice with an amount of R9,376.94 of which, R7800 they say its for the 2x 2 years old devices(Sony Z3 compact[Dead] and Samsung S5[Dying]) and a migration penalty fee of R800 TF, plus recurring monthly fees (What monthly fees because contract has been cancelled 20 days before it was due for an upgrade as per your T's and C's )
Can someone kindly contact me, regarding this matter as I am worried it will affect my credit rating as before - please send them this message such that I do not have to waste 5minutes of my time explaining it.
