random debit order penalty

Hi I just found out now that because of a unpoaid debit order of R169 for a hauwei tab contract I needed to make payment to get my account out of the rears. I then deposited R170 a day after I got notified of the issue and still got sms's and notifications that I still owe monies on my account and if not paid it will be suspended? I phoned into customer care and the amount I still owe is R200 +- and I asked why, only to be told its a penalty for a failed debit order????????I dont understand why I need to pay almost 105 % my actual installment again when my account is not suspended and not disconnected. On the terms of my contract there is no statement saying a R200 penalty will be added because of the above incicent.I was still going to take up a data plan with telkom but now it justs seems my fiance was right when I asked if she wanted to upgrade like I did her words were "I dont have time for complicated issues due to the prvious experience and hellopeters I submitted also due to finance/technical contract amounts after our contract lapsed. I really need this sorted out as this is a matter of principal and I have read section 6.4 and 6.5 of the contract I signed and I dont see additional R200 penalty charges applicable especially when I paid the amount manually beofre any disconnecting or refusal to pay or breaching my contract happened.
