R699 ADSL contract for free - but got charged!!!

was called to change my month to month account to a 2 year contract 10mb line deal for R699.<br> <br> I was told there would be NO charges to change from my month to month to the 24 month contract.<br> <br> However now on my bill it states:<br> <br> Contracts R1,430.37<br> <br> Contract Forfeiture CT*** Contract forfeiture R1,430.37 ????<br> <br> To make matters worse I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN GIVEN MY MODEM.<br> <br> Dispute case: ***0 has been made to reverse the above charges of R1430.37<br> <br> I need to pay my bill for the month which should be R699 as quoted. <br> <br> This is the second case I have lodged now but still no resolution.
