Purchase of phone

Good day,

On Thursday, 11 January I called a Telkom store in Galleria Mall and went through to the call centre, where I enquired about a Hawei Mate 9. I was informed that the phone was available at Telkom Galleria. The next day, Friday 12 January I drove 30km to purchase the phone on contract. I was assisted by a gentleman by the name of Junaid, who explained to me, at first that they didn't have the device in stock. After in had explained to him about my earlier enquiry he then, after searching on his system, confirmed that they had only one unit available. He further explained to me that the phone comes with a 32gig memory stick and can not be sold without it. He said the system wouldn't release the phone without it and assured me that there was nothing he or his manager could do for me and that I wasn't the first customer to complain about this. When I asked if the device was available at other Telkom stores, the system confirmed that it wasn't available in Durban. I've been greatly inconvenienced by this, I want to purchase the one unit that is left at Galleria Mall, surely Telkom management can do something about sending a 32gig memory stick at a later date. I there so I may finally buy the phone.

I am very much disappointed about this and I trust that that this matter Will be resolved ASAP.
