PUBLIC SERVICE - Helping Telkom understand why they have Over 33000 2 Star or less ratings out of 35000 Ratings.

After fighting with telkom for so long with no results I hope writing a Report that they can understand will assist them and maybe even get their company moving in the right direction - If you agree please do the things social media allow to hopefully get at least one person from Telkom to understand.

Background -I app**** for internet in April. June canceled account as i hade not recieved a service since April. Had been charged R910.00 at that point. At the beginning of August I have been charge an additional R294,61 since cancellation in June.

Objective - Get telkom to Pay Back the Money!

Telkom Simplified Summary:

If you (Telkom Employee) happened one day to find yourself hungry during the day you would make a grown up choice to fix that by getting something to eat. Let's say, just for the example, that you drove past a fast food company - Let's say one with a big yellow 'M' outside. You then drive to the intercom-device and order a Speciality Burger, Chips and a Soda... Lemon twist - They are nice. The nice person on the other side of the intercom kindly requests you go to the next window to pay. Now you are getting excited. You know that you are EXTRMELEY hungry and now just one window away from your Meal, which will make you Happy. With a massive smile on your face, and a little drool sliding down your chin, you hand over your Bank Card. Trying to Keep yourself together you bang in your pin - Knowing when you get this excited you may press an incorrect number by accident and only prolong the wait of Complete Happiness. One number at a time you hit the pin buttons... 'ACCEPTED' appears on the Card Holder Machine. The lovely person tears off your slip, puts it together with your reciept and with an almost seductive tone ushers you to the Final Window - The Window of Desire! At this window you will recieve a bag. This is not just any bag. This bag contains everything you have want in life at this current moment.

Pulling up to this window you see another person who's every word brings you that much closer to that bursting point of happiness... And just like that the person crushes your soul. 'I'm Sorry (Telkom Employees Name), unfortunately we cannot assist you right now as we have run out of Meat'... Holding back the tears you manage to reply in a bearly unbroken voice 'Can i wait'. The once Siren-Like assistant turns into a Fire Breathing Ogre and spits back 'No!'. This has you confused (Naturally) and you are trying to understand this. With what little breath you have you form a sentence 'I have already paid'. This time the flames from the reply barely miss you 'KEEP DRIVING! YOU ARE HOLDING UP THE QUE!'. Fear of survival kicks in and you make the choice to find this Ogre's boss - If only you could just explain your situation. There are many other companies that do not have the 'M', they may have a 'BK' or an Old man or even a big Rooster with Heart in the middle - You know it will cost more but it may just be worth it right now. All you need is to talk with this person, get your money and begin your hunt again... From the start... STILL HUNGRY.

On your trip to the doors you can't help but notice at least 20 of the Companies delivery vehicles driving around you, tormenting you. Every rev is a sound of laughter as you do not understand how they could be delivering these burgers without Meat??

You smash down the door as you enter the premises - 'I need a manager, please' you demand. 'Sure thing (Telkom Employees Name), I will get her now. Whille you stand there, you cannot see what is happening but you can hear a rumble of voices - In your head a catchy melody plays that brings your temper down and soothes your soul. 5 minutes pass... 10 minutes pass... eventually you have been caught up with this magical melody for 30 minutes and all of a sudden the melody of calmness turns into a drumming of rage. With each cycle of the melody your rage grows. The person who left you standing there returns ands asks 'Hi (Telkom Employee), how may I help you'. Confused, enraged and about ready to jump over the counter you ask about the manager you just requested. The person tells you the manager is now not available as they went to lunch.

You break down, crying. Through the stream of tears you explain that you paid money and have not yet recieved your service(Internet). The person consoles you and requests you fill out a form discribing this. You (Telkom Employee) fill out the documents, heartbroken, hungry and disgusted by the fact that you have paid so much money without recieving anything in return.

You go the the Fast Food place with the Rooster and the Heart. You feel like should have paid a little more as the transaction was seemless. There was no waiting for money. No getting ******. Just pure happiness as they delivered the service as was promised. They did not want you to pay a different amount to what they discussed. They did not want to make you wait around and waste your time. THEY DID NOT WANT TO MAKE YOU SAD.

In the above story:

The Fast Food Place with the Yellow 'M' was Telkom.

You were Telkom Employee.

Rooster with a red Heart was your opposition.

Feelings that were mentioned were real.

*Side note: If you think the story is to long - if you are ever asked by telkom to wait on the line, depending on the speed you read at and how lucky you get, i believe you could get through it at least 2 times.
