Prohibitive cancellation e.g cannot cancel for no reason

Hi Telkom,

I canceled my landline on the 30th of October for the end of November. I emailed the signed form and contacted you directly in this regard. It was then escalated in January, when you PM on FB to clarify (after I complained). I requested the cancellation and reversal of the charges. I have now received another invoice (with no reversal). Please confirm which ombudsman I should escalate this too? Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) http://www.cgso.org.za/

National Consumer Commission (NCC) http://www.thencc.gov.za/

I am also interested if your cancellation policies/procedures are so prohibitive that you have benefitted/profited against a client who has followed your own cancellation procedure but cannot cancel a landline. I wonder if there is merit in getting a judge to determine if those invoices which have been paid (after the request for cancellation) should not be refunded. I am sure many people have been negatively impacted in the same way I have.
