Potential false advertising

Potential false advertising. Received an email that I am due for an upgrade. Responded to the email as instructed. Finally, got hold of Telkom to do the upgrade only to be told that the deals advertised do not exist? This seems to be false advertising or the agent in question does is unaware of your deals?
