Porting of New Contact Number

<p>Good Day,</p> <p>I took out a contract on the 20th June 2016, I have always been a loyal customer of Telkom but for the past two weeks I have been in and out Telkom stores for absolutely no one to be able to assist me with the correct information.</p> <p>Cases were logged many times, various people have looked at the issue but no one can give me concrete information as to why the port can’t happen from a Telkom to Telkom number. I have contacted the head office in Pretoria which has also informed me that nothing can happen and I must just wait, I was not only cut off 4 times while been transferred all over the place but no one could give me proper advice or assist me in any way whatsoever.</p> <p>I have been waiting, for far too long already, as this is something that should take 24 to 48 hours not almost two weeks.</p> <p>I made it very clear when I took out the contract that I needed to use my old number and I was assured that I could.</p> <p>I am paying for a service and I don’t understand why this process is taking this long.</p> <p>This is affecting so many other aspects of my life as I need to now walk around with two separate phones, one for whatsapp and social media and another for phone calls, I also can’t register my banking app as they need my cell phone number, which means finances are also put on hold. I need to now go into a bank to actually do any form of banking, which is so impractical as we are not living in the stone ages.</p> <p>I’m very disappointed in this pathetic service from Telkom for dragging this out for so long.</p> <p>This is completely despicable for such a huge company, to find out that there are no correct policies and procedures put into place is actually downright appalling.</p> <p>Please sort this out urgently!!!</p> <p>Regards,</p> <p>Roxanne</p> <p> ********** 709</p> <p> </p>
