Porting not done for 12 days after promise of 24hr

I've decided to take out a contract with Telkom and requested my number to be ported to Telkom from the previous service provider. The promise was that the number will be switched within 24 hours. 12 days later and it is still not done. The call center people keep telling me \tomorrow\". Now I hear it has been escalated to the back office and I must just wait. I've asked to speak to a manager twice, but the managers seems to be busy every time and then don't call me back. "
