Poor Service Telkom

I requested a service from Telkom (Tygerberg branch) and the agent told me that the service that I referred to did not exist. On investigation I found that the service did in fact exist as a friend of mine in the legal profession was using it. I then proceeded to contact the call centre who informed me that I needed their fiber package to receive the service (now the service does exist). I informed her that my friend did not have their fiber package, yet, had the facility that I requested. After some time on hold, she returned and said that it was only available on a data package. Again, incorrect information as my friend did not have their data package either. She then notified me that she had compiled an email to management, and yes, you guessed it, of course, no further contact from them. Really poor customer service, lack of product knowledge and no sense of business growth. I terminated my service with them hoping to never deal with Telkom again.
