Poor service from Telkom Mall @ Reds Centurion

Telkom at Mall @ Reds, I app**** for a contact phone and received a call from Cynthia this morning to come pick up my device. I asked to leave early at work to get to the store before closing time,when I got there the was gentle man that was complaining about the service and how he has been coming to the store several times and they always turn him back saying he doesn’t have all the necessary documents. I guess today he was frustrated and couldn’t contain it any longer.

I was assisted,signed the contact,did my finger prints. Everything was fine. The lady that was assisting me kept me waiting for quite a while even before I signed the contact. Next thing she hands over the device to her colleague and hands me the copy of my contract. Then she tells me I won’t get my device today I must wait for 2-3 working days for credit checks.

I drove all the way from Pretoria Town and asked to knock off early for nothing. What’s upsetting is that I was told to come pick up my device,if they still had to do credit checks then why was I called? This is totally unacceptable! I cancelled another contract and opted for Telkom only to be inconvenienced like this?
