Poor Service from TELKOM
I have called TELKOM from my office where I used to work at ESKOM in Polokwane on 08 December at 14:05 to inform them that I will go on Pension on 31 DCEMBER, that I will relocate to the Western Cape on 22 December and that my TELKOM account should therefore be finalised on 31 December. I was then informed that I will have to pay for January because I was too late with my request to cancell the account on 08 December which I did. I have asked the person if I must fill n any form online or at a TELKOM office but I was told that it was not necessary because she already did it online. I have later received a message to pay and I have explained everything above but the person asked me for a reference number which I was never given. I am really fed-up with *********** people and no understanding at all. I have called MULTICHOICE on the same date just after 13:00 and my request to cancel my subscription was adhered to with no problems experienced thereafter what so ever I am actually glad that my account was handed over because I trust that this mater will now be closed for once and for all.
Thank you
I have send this e-mail to the attorney ********** who was appointed as the atorney to deal with m case on behalf of TELKOM. They just don't want to listen to me and it seems to me that they made me to be a lire. I have received another sms from them this morning to inform me that the are there to help me to enter into a payment arrangement TO THE OUTSTANDING AMOUNT OF R1699.29 for services not rendered to me because I have left Polokwane on 22 December. I am not at all willing to pay because I HAVE INFORMED TELKOM that my account must be closed as from 31 December. WHY MUST I PAY END FORCED TO PAY for a service that I have requested to be cancelled??? AN *********** PERSON AT TELKOM dealt with me and now I must be on the receiving end of it??? I hope that you can assist me with this.
