Poor service at Telkom

I went to Telkom store at Hatfield to return a phone i bought on the 15th of March 2018, but the lady by name of Karabo Peeto refused to help me to book my phone for repairs simply because i didn't bring along my SA Green ID book. However I went with my drivers licence and the broken phones papers as well, also they didn't provide me with a return policy that tells me to bring my ID book in case i need to book a phone for repairs. Poor service and i took 2 contract phones with them
