poor service and recovery times

I recently did an upgrade to my cell contract, Telkom billing department then charged me almost 9k for the upgrade which was incorrect, as soon as i received the bill of almost 9k i questioned it this was early December for the December invoice on the 24th of December i received the new amended bill which was corrected but on the 31 December i was debited the amount of +/-R8900 the full incorrect amount. I called Telkom to find out what happened and was advised that I should do I reversal at my bank for the full amount and Telkom will debit in end of January the December and January amounts( which made more sense) however this not being the case my line was the fully locked due to non-payment so January im sitting with no phone and was told make payment for the line to be unlocked ( which was not the case on what I was advised to do the telephonic call I had with the agent on the 31December) so knowing I had till the end of January I spent the money before the line was locked my stupidity, in February they debited part of the amount saying it was in the collections department at that point in time It was 3 months now that was being debited and I didn’t have enough available funds, so month 2 No cell phone , this month the last of the bill was debited on the 27th of February no problem from my side but Telkom seems to be located on the moon for some reason as it takes up to 14 working days to reflect the amounts in there account and only then will the line be unlocked ? I have sent proof of payment spoken to a number of people at Telkom on how to get this speeded up as that’s almost half of March I will be without a cellular phone? I also told them I paid as per my contract details the full amounts for 2 months which I didn’t have any useage on my phone ( by any usage I mean I can’t receive an sms or call on my contract which is my business number) how unprofessional is that ?

Never again will I chose Telkom as my cellular provider just 17more months then I can cancel this contract without being penalised with a hefty bill
